Swallow’s Nest owner Ginny Vail is a true original and the heart and soul of the Swallow’s Nest. Raised in Gibsons BC, Ginny studied art in Vancouver and Los Angeles prior to a career as advertising art director.

Ginny's exquisite eye, passion for re-invention and a basement full of cool junk led Ginny to open the fledgling Swallow’s Nest in 1999.

Today, shoppers, designers, media and collectors are drawn to Ginny for her signature warmth and chic expertise, along with access to the constantly evolving and always inspired collection of vintage, eclectic and boutique finds at the Swallow’s Nest.
